Does turning on Geo Redirects hurt my SEO?

Not with the default settings — the recommended Show modal mode avoids the main SEO risk that comes with automatic, IP-based redirects.

Automatically redirecting every visitor based on detected location (our Auto-redirect mode) is the kind of geo-redirect behavior that can occasionally cause search engines to have trouble indexing your pages correctly, since crawlers can get redirected too. Our Show modal mode sidesteps this — it only redirects a visitor after they've actively confirmed, so nothing changes automatically for crawlers or first-time visits. This is why Show modal is our recommended default.
