# How the Hobby plan syncs your first 50 products to Google?

The **Hobby plan** is perfect for stores with a smaller catalog or those who are just starting out with Google Shopping. Here’s everything you need to know:

#### Product sync limits

* The Hobby plan syncs **up to 50 products** from your Shopify store to your Google Merchant Center account.
    
* The first 50 products selected for sync are based on:
   
1. **Product creation date **(Earliest)
    
2. **Product status** (only *active* products are considered).

This means that if you have more than 50 active products, only the earliest 50 created products will be synced.

#### What happens when you change your plan?

* **Upgrading your plan** will allow syncing of more products as per the new plan’s limit. Additional products will be automatically pushed to GMC.
    
* **Downgrading your plan** (or switching back to the Hobby plan) will **automatically remove** any products beyond the 50-product limit from the Google Shopping Feed app as well as your **Google Merchant Center account.**
