# How to enable Shopify checkout extension support in remarketing pixel app

## Learn how to add support for checkout extension for your standard and dynamic retargeting pixel
**No additional steps are needed** to enable support for the checkout extension within the remarketing app. Follow these steps to ensure proper setup of the pixel :

1. Once you have chosen the desired type of retargeting pixel, navigate to the homepage.
On the homepage, locate and copy the script. Click on "open customer events" and in the top right corner, select the "Add custom pixel" option.

Enter a name of your choice for the pixel, and then click on "Add Pixel."

Insert the copied script into the designated field, save it and then click on "Connect." This action will finalize the setup, ensuring the proper setup of pixel.
