How to Export and Import Redirects in Nabu Redirect Manager ?

This article explains how to export your existing redirects as a CSV file and how to import redirects in bulk using a CSV file.

Exporting Redirects

Exporting lets you download a copy of your redirect data as a CSV file. You can export Unresolved 404s, Ignored Redirects, or Shopify Redirects.

  1. Open Nabu Redirect Manager from your Shopify Admin.
  2. In the All Redirects section, click the Export button in the top-right area.

  1. The Export Links dialog will appear. Select which type of redirect data you want to export:

  • Export Unresolved 404s — broken links that have not been fixed yet.
  • Export Ignored Redirects — links you have marked as ignored.
  • Export Shopify Redirects — redirects that have been created and synced to Shopify.

  1. Click Export CSV. The file will be downloaded to your computer. The maximum supported file size for export is 50MB.

Importing Redirects

Importing lets you bulk-create redirects by uploading a CSV file — useful when migrating from another platform or setting up many redirects at once.

  1. Open Nabu Redirect Manager from your Shopify Admin.
  2. In the All Redirects section, click the Import button.
  3. The Import Links dialog will appear. Click Add file and select your CSV file.

  • Only .csv files are accepted.
  • File size must be under 50MB.

  1. Click Upload and Preview to validate the file and review the redirects before they are created.
  2. Confirm the import to complete. The redirects will be added and synced to Shopify.

If you need a correctly formatted template, click Download Sample CSV before preparing your file. Imported redirects are treated as Shopify 404 redirects and will be synced to Shopify periodically.
