# Why do my products show in "opted-in" in the AdNabu dashboard, whereas they are approved in the Merchant Center?


## Here is why you see the product status as "opted-in" in AdNabu

If your product status is "opted-in" in AdNabu and approved in the Merchant center, you need to check if you have signed up for shopping ads in Google Merchant Center.

Merchant Center can show products as approved even if the products are only approved for free listings.

If you have signed up for shopping and still see the product status as opted-in, please click on the "sync approval status" button to fetch the current merchant center product status.
