What happens when I disable the app embed block in Nabu Schema Pro?

When you disable the app embed block, Nabu Schema Pro stops adding schema markup to your store, so your structured data is no longer published to your storefront.

Nabu Schema Pro uses an app embed block to add JSON-LD structured data (product, merchant, collection, article, blog, and breadcrumb schema) to your store without any theme file edits. The app embed block is the connection between our app and your live theme. If you turn it off, that connection is broken.

What does the app embed block do? It is the part of your theme that lets our app inject schema markup into your storefront pages. As long as it is enabled, your selected schema types are added and updated automatically across your store.
