A step-by-step guide to configuring your Facebook Pixel for optimal tracking.
Setting up with a Facebook account

Log in to Your Facebook Account

Login to Facebook using a business account that includes the Pixels you want to track.

Select Your Pixel

Choose the business account and Pixel from the dropdown menu.

If you don’t have a Pixel, use Nabu’s "Create Pixel" feature. Ensure you’ve accepted the Pixel terms and conditions in your event manager. If Pixel terms and conditions are not selected, you might get an error.

Add Conversion API Token (Optional)

Enter your Conversion API token for server-side tracking. This ensures accurate tracking on devices with iOS 14+.

Use the "Visit Event Manager" button to get redirected to event manager for quick access.

Enable App Embed Block (Optional)

Enable the embed block for seamless tracking. Click on "Go to theme" and turn on the app embed and save the settings. Select "App embed block is enabled" and click next.

Select Events to Track

Choose the events you want to monitor. Some events may require copying and pasting scripts into customer event settings. Learn more here.

Your setup is complete and the pixel is ready to be tracked on your Shopify store.

Setting Up Manually
If you don’t have access to a Facebook account, you can add your Pixel manually:

Select "Manually Add Pixel"

Input the desired Pixel name and ID for tracking. You can choose any name for the Pixel that makes sense for your tracking needs.

Add Conversion API Token (Optional)

Enter your Conversion API token for enhanced tracking. Use the "Visit Event Manager" button to obtain the token.
