Why Shopify shows "Pixel will not track any customer behaviour" when setting up TikTok Pixel ?
Shopify’s message “Pixel will not track any customer behaviour because it is not subscribed to any events” simply indicates that Shopify’s built-in pixel subscription list has no Shopify-managed events associated with that pixel. This is different from a custom pixel that runs via a script.
A custom TikTok pixel uses its own script and event subscriptions, so Shopify’s warning does not necessarily mean the pixel isn’t working.
If the custom pixel is properly connected and the correct script is installed, you can safely ignore the Shopify warning.
